Skin overview

The G3SG1 | Contractor reads as a plain utility rifle with separately painted parts in tan, navy and dark green. In Field-Tested the paint starts to thin on edges and contact points, which suits the workmanlike look of the finish. The colour blocks stay easy to tell apart at normal distance.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The upper receiver, handguard and scope are painted dark green, while the barrel, muzzle and magazine stay in darker grey-navy tones. The stock, pistol grip, charging handle and scope mount are covered in a matte tan, giving the rear of the rifle a light accent.

Paint thins along the handguard edges, at the muzzle and on the ends of the scope tube. The tan grip and the edges of the stock show scuffs where the coat has started to lift. In game the wear reads as light weathering rather than damage. The flat sides of the receiver and the magazine still hold most of their colour.

The skin’s collection is The Baggage Collection with 15 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
