Skin overview

G3SG1 | Keeping Tabs is a dark grey sniper rifle with a band of red, pink, yellow and green patches along the receiver, styled after Danger Zone's tactical map display. In Factory New the coloured patches have clean edges and the thin dark lines between them stay sharp. The contrast between the muted body and the bright map strip is at its strongest here.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The base of the rifle is dark grey with an olive tint: barrel, handguard, scope, pistol grip, stock and magazine stay in this muted colour. The artwork sits on the receiver as a horizontal band of red, pink, yellow and green patches separated by thin dark lines, resembling zones on a tactical map. The band runs from the front of the receiver back towards the stock and dips down around the magazine well. On worn copies the top edge of the receiver and the borders of the coloured band lose paint first, followed by the area around the magazine well and the trigger group.

No visible wear on any part of the rifle. The coloured patches on the receiver have crisp borders, and the thin dividing lines are fully intact. At normal distance the map strip reads as a bright accent on a dark body. The scope, stock and barrel are clean and uniform.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the coloured band on the receiver shows the difference most clearly.
  • Inspect the top edge of the receiver and the borders of the map strip, as they lose paint first.
  • Look at the area around the magazine well, where wear spreads in the middle and lower grades.
  • Note any stickers or name tag already applied, as they change the look of the receiver.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Collectors who want the map artwork with the sharpest colours and borders.
  • Sticker crafters who need a clean receiver to build around.
  • The choice for those who value the finish in its intended form.
