M249 | Humidor covers the machine gun in a dense spray-painted ornament of brown and purple vines and flowers. In Factory New the tan outlines stay sharp against the darker copper base, so the floral pattern reads clearly across the whole body. The long barrel and muzzle stay mostly dark gunmetal with only traces of the ornament, which frames the patterned body. On worn copies the spray paint goes first on the muzzle, the top edges of the receiver, the rear sight and carry parts, the corners of the ammo box and the edges of the stock. The flat sides of the receiver and the ammo box hold the pattern longest.

The paint is intact on every part of the weapon. The tan outlines of the vines and flowers are crisp, and the copper base looks even. In game the ornament reads as a fine, detailed texture rather than a solid brown. Edges of the muzzle, ammo box and stock are clean.
