The M249 | Humidor ornament of vines and flowers is designed in muted browns and purples, so it tolerates wear better than bright finishes. The receiver, handguard and the large ammo box are covered in a copper-brown base with a tan vine and flower ornament outlined in dark plum. The pattern continues onto the stock and grip, so almost the entire weapon carries the same dense floral motif.

Paint is rubbed off along all edges of the receiver, the ammo box and the stock, and the muzzle and sights are largely bare. Scratches spread from the edges onto the sides, breaking up parts of the ornament. The centre of the ammo box and receiver sides still show the vines and flowers. In game the weapon looks darker and patchier, though the floral motif is still readable.
