M249 | Impact Drill (Factory New)

Skin overview

M249 | Impact Drill is a solid-colour finish in which separate parts of the machine gun are spray-painted blue and orange. A long bright orange barrel and a matching box magazine stand out against a dark blue-grey receiver. In Factory New the paint is even and unbroken, so the colour blocks have crisp edges.

Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and top cover are painted a dark blue-grey, with small orange details on the bolt area and side fittings. The long barrel, front sight and rear sight are bright orange, and the large box magazine below the receiver is the same orange. The stock and pistol grip stay in a muted grey-brown, which keeps the attention on the orange parts. There is no pattern: each part is a single flat colour. On worn copies the paint chips first on the muzzle end of the barrel, the edges and corners of the ammo box, the sight posts and the raised ribs of the receiver.

The paint is complete on every part, with no chips on the barrel, sights or ammo box. The orange looks saturated and uniform, and the dark receiver has a clean, even surface. In game the weapon shows sharp colour boundaries. Everything from muzzle to stock looks freshly painted.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, yellow and dark blue stickers match the existing colour blocks, while black or holo stickers with blue tones fit well on the receiver. Placing stickers on the dark receiver keeps them readable against the bright barrel and box.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the solid orange shows chips clearly on worn copies.
• Inspect the corners of the ammo box, as they are the most visible part in first-person view and wear early.
• Look at the muzzle and sight posts, which lose paint before the rest of the barrel.
• Pattern does not matter for this finish, so compare copies by float and applied stickers.

Who should buy Factory New

• Players who want the cleanest, most even orange on their M249.
• Sticker crafters who need an unchipped base for a colour-matched build.
• Choose it if crisp colour edges matter to you.
