Show allAllSkin overview
M249 | Jungle relies on blocks of plain colour rather than a pattern, so it keeps its green-and-tan look as it ages. At Field-Tested the paint starts to break on the edges of the receiver and around the ammo box, and some bare metal shows through. From normal distance the weapon still reads as clearly green.
Item type: machinegun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The receiver, the top cover and the handguard area are painted a bright, slightly minty jungle green. The long barrel, the ammo box and the stock are finished in a tan, khaki shade.
Paint loss becomes visible on the receiver edges, the top cover and the corners of the ammo box, where dark metal starts to show. The barrel and stock pick up light scratches. In game the weapon still reads as green and tan, with wear noticeable mainly in first-person view. Flat panels of the receiver and the stock body stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of M249 | Jungle is 0.06–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
M249 | Jungle belongs to The St. Marc Collection, which holds 18 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Stickers and crafts
Stickers in green, olive, brown or tan tones blend with the jungle scheme. Placements on the green receiver side stand out most, while muted stickers on the tan parts keep the look calm.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep more paint on the receiver edges.
- Inspect the corners of the ammo box and the top cover, as these lose paint first.
- Look at whether the copy is a Souvenir version and what stickers it already carries.
- Check for a name tag or applied stickers that may change how the green receiver reads.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who want the green-and-tan scheme at a budget entry point.
- Those who like a lightly used look with visible edge wear.
- A balanced option where the colours still read clearly.
