M4A4 | Aeolian Dark in Battle-Scarred keeps its grayscale identity, but the pale coating is heavily worn through. The knot pattern survives in fragments between scuffed areas. The result is a rough, field-used look that fits the monochrome scheme.

In game the rifle reads as a mottled grey and dark weapon rather than a clean light one. The less exposed recesses keep the last traces of the pale base.
