Show allAllSkin overview
Acid Hex turns the boxy MAC-10 into a green, honeycomb-like block that stays recognisable at any distance. In Field-Tested the edges and corners start to show dark metal through the paint, which adds a used, practical character. The hex pattern itself still covers most of the surfaces.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The whole receiver is coated in a hydrographic hex pattern: irregular lime and yellow-green cells separated by darker green lines, with the size and shading of the hexagons shifting from panel to panel. The long magazine and the grip carry the same pattern, and the yellow tone is strongest on the front of the grip.
Wear spreads along the top edges of the receiver, the magazine corners and the edges of the grip, showing dark metal in thin lines and patches. The front of the receiver near the barrel may also show scuffing. In game the green still dominates, and the scratches read as a darker outline. The side panels and the middle of the magazine keep the hex pattern clearly.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of MAC-10 | Acid Hex is 0–0.58; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (40% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Stickers and crafts
Green, yellow and gold stickers blend with the acid palette for a monochrome look, while black or dark holo stickers stand out cleanly against the lime cells. The flat side of the receiver gives the most visible space for a sticker row.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end show less edge wear on the receiver and magazine.
- Inspect the magazine corners and base plate, as they lose paint first and are very visible in the first-person view.
- Souvenir versions exist, so check whether a copy carries souvenir stickers and whether they suit you.
- Look at any applied stickers and name tag, because they affect how the green finish looks as a whole.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players on a budget who want a recognisable green MAC-10 for everyday use.
- Fans of a used, practical look with dark edges framing the pattern.
- Conclusion: a balanced middle option where the hexagons are still clear.
