Skin overview

MAG-7 | Cobalt Core is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish for the Counter-Terrorist side, built from angular steel-blue panels crossed by thin cyan lines. In Factory New the turquoise accents stay crisp and bright against the darker base, so the futuristic panel layout reads exactly as designed.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver is covered in angular slate-blue plates with darker blue sections and a fine speckled texture, separated by thin glowing cyan lines. The foregrip continues the same blue panelling with curved turquoise strips, and a cyan ring sits on the muzzle behind the dark gunmetal barrel. The magazine carries stacked cyan chevrons over the blue base, and the trigger guard picks up the turquoise accent. On worn copies the paint goes first on the sharp panel edges, the top rail, the muzzle area and the bottom of the magazine, where grey metal shows through.

The paint is intact on every part, including the sharp panel edges and the muzzle ring. The cyan lines are fully saturated and the speckled texture on the blue plates is even. In game the turquoise accents stand out clearly against the darker body. Nothing on the receiver, foregrip or magazine shows metal.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of MAG-7 | Cobalt Core is 0–0.5; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (14% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
