Skin overview

MAG-7 | Silver is a plain Industrial Grade finish that covers the shotgun in a chrome base under a transparent silver anodized coat. There is no pattern or accent colour, so the whole look depends on how clean and even the metal surface is. In Factory New the chrome reads as a uniform mirror-like grey from muzzle to magazine.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver, top rail and side panels are finished in bright silver chrome, with the panel lines and recesses picking up darker grey shading. The slotted barrel shroud and muzzle carry the same metal tone, while the foregrip under the receiver looks a shade darker and more matte. The trigger guard, pistol grip and inserted magazine stay in the same silver, with a darker base plate at the bottom of the magazine. Being an anodized finish, it has no pattern, and on worn copies the first marks appear on the muzzle tip, the edges of the foregrip and the magazine base.

The chrome surface is even across the whole weapon, with no scuffs on the muzzle or the magazine base. Edges of the receiver panels and the barrel shroud slots keep a sharp, clean outline. In game the shotgun reads as a solid bright silver piece with smooth reflections. Lower floats in this grade look the cleanest under close inspection.

Stickers and crafts

The neutral silver works as a blank canvas, so a single bright sticker in red, gold or holographic finish stands out well on the receiver side. Monochrome black-and-white or foil stickers keep the clean metal look intact.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the float within the grade, since the finish is plain and small marks are the only real difference between copies.
  • Inspect the muzzle tip, foregrip edges and magazine base, where the coat wears first.
  • Souvenir copies carry fixed stickers, so check whether they fit the clean silver look you want.
  • Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.

Who the Factory New quality suits

  • Players who want a clean, unobtrusive chrome MAG-7 for CT sides.
  • Sticker crafters looking for a neutral silver base without any pattern to clash with.
  • Collectors who prefer the cleanest version of a plain finish.
  • A simple and tidy pick for those who value an even metal surface.
