Skin overview

This wear sits in a narrow slice at the top of the skin's short float range, so it looks almost the same as the cleaner grade. The silver anodized coat still covers the receiver, barrel shroud and magazine without visible gaps. It is the way to get the same monochrome chrome MAG-7 when Factory New copies are not on offer or cost more.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver, top rail and side panels are finished in bright silver chrome, with the panel lines and recesses picking up darker grey shading. The slotted barrel shroud and muzzle carry the same metal tone, while the foregrip under the receiver looks a shade darker and more matte.

At most, faint light marks can show on the muzzle tip and the lower edge of the foregrip. The receiver sides, top rail and grip keep the full silver coat. At normal playing distance the difference from Factory New is practically invisible. Only close inspection reveals that the reflections are slightly less uniform on the extremities.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.08

The whole float range of MAG-7 | Silver is 0–0.08; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.08 segment (12% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

The neutral silver works as a blank canvas, so a single bright sticker in red, gold or holographic finish stands out well on the receiver side. Monochrome black-and-white or foil stickers keep the clean metal look intact.

What to check before buying

  • Compare the float within the grade, since the finish is plain and small marks are the only real difference between copies.
  • Inspect the muzzle tip, foregrip edges and magazine base, where the coat wears first.
  • Souvenir copies carry fixed stickers, so check whether they fit the clean silver look you want.
  • Check for a name tag or applied stickers if you plan your own craft.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Budget-minded players who want the same silver look with almost no visible difference.
  • Those who need a quick entry into a plain skin for the MAG-7 slot.
  • Crafters for whom the base finish matters less than the stickers on top.
  • A practical choice when Factory New copies are scarce or more expensive.
