Show allAllSkin overview
Acid Wash is a gunsmith finish where the blue coat already looks weathered by design, which suits honest wear. In Field-Tested the mottled blue begins to thin on the edges and the suppressor tip, giving the MP5-SD a used service look while the brass accents remain clearly visible.
Item type: smg. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The long integrated suppressor is coated in dark metallic blue with a blotchy acid-etched pattern of lighter and brownish patches. The handguard is black with a fine ribbed texture, while the receiver carries the same etched blue as the suppressor.
Wear becomes visible on the suppressor tip, receiver edges and magazine corners, where the blue thins to grey. The sights and other raised parts may show light scuffs. In game it still reads as a blue etched finish with a slightly weathered look. The flat areas of the suppressor and receiver remain mostly clean.
Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38
The float of MP5-SD | Acid Wash ranges from 0 to 0.68; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 34% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

Stickers and crafts
Gold, brass or holo stickers in blue and copper tones match the hardware and the etched coat. Placing them on the receiver near the brass fittings keeps the scheme consistent.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower floats keep more blue on the suppressor and receiver edges.
- Look at the suppressor muzzle and magazine corners in the inspect view, as they lose the coat first.
- Make sure any applied stickers or name tag fit the dark blue and brass scheme.
- Compare StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions if a counter or souvenir status matters to you.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who like a weathered service look that suits the acid theme.
- Buyers who want a recognisable finish at a moderate cost.
- A practical everyday choice.
