Skin overview

MP7 | Asterion pairs a cobalt base with a teal isometric maze, and in Battle-Scarred that contrast is broken up by heavy grey wear. Large patches of bare metal appear on the edges and protruding parts, leaving the labyrinth mostly on the central panels. It suits players who like a rough, sprayed-over look at the lowest entry point for this skin.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and the upper rail are painted cobalt blue with a stencilled isometric labyrinth in teal and turquoise, outlined by dark navy gaps. The same maze continues onto the front vertical grip, the pistol grip and the long magazine, where the zigzag paths run along the length of the part.

Large grey areas cover the top of the receiver, the rail, sights, muzzle and the edges of the grips, magazine and stock. The maze is broken into fragments near every edge and survives mainly on the middle of the side panels. The blue base looks patchy and the overall impression is rough and sprayed-over. In game the weapon reads as heavily used, with the pattern still recognisable in the centre.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Teal, turquoise, holo blue and silver stickers blend with the maze, while gold or white ones stand out cleanly against the dark blue base. Placing them on the flat receiver panel keeps the labyrinth on the magazine and grips visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps noticeably more of the maze on the edges.
  • Check the sights, rail and magazine edges on the inspect screen, because these parts lose paint first.
  • On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and where, as they change the look of the receiver.
  • Pay attention to any stickers or name tag already on the item and whether they match the blue and teal scheme.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players who want the lowest entry point for this skin.
  • Those who like a rough, heavily worn look where bare metal shows through.
  • Conclusion: a budget pick for the look of a well-used weapon.
