Skin overview

This MP7 is covered in a blue and teal maze pattern applied with spray paint and a stencil, so the whole gun reads as one continuous labyrinth. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost intact: the lines stay sharp and only the tips of the sights and muzzle may show a few grey specks. It is a way to get a near-clean Asterion without paying for the top grade.

Item type: smg. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and the upper rail are painted cobalt blue with a stencilled isometric labyrinth in teal and turquoise, outlined by dark navy gaps. The same maze continues onto the front vertical grip, the pistol grip and the long magazine, where the zigzag paths run along the length of the part.

Small grey specks may appear on the tips of the sights, the muzzle area and the sharpest rail edges. The maze lines and the blue base stay intact on the receiver, grips, magazine and stock. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. Only close inspection reveals the first scuffs.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of MP7 | Asterion ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 15% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Gods and Monsters Collection with 14 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Price by quality

Among 9 skins of the MP7 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 3rd by price, counting from the dearest.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Teal, turquoise, holo blue and silver stickers blend with the maze, while gold or white ones stand out cleanly against the dark blue base. Placing them on the flat receiver panel keeps the labyrinth on the magazine and grips visible.

What to check before buying

  • Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade keeps noticeably more of the maze on the edges.
  • Check the sights, rail and magazine edges on the inspect screen, because these parts lose paint first.
  • On Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and where, as they change the look of the receiver.
  • Pay attention to any stickers or name tag already on the item and whether they match the blue and teal scheme.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean look in game without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters, since the receiver panels stay fully intact.
  • Conclusion: practically the Factory New look at a more sensible level.
