Skin overview

MP9 | Featherweight is defined by its light porous dots on a dark frame, and in Battle-Scarred that pattern is heavily broken. Large areas of the receiver and grip lose the white cells and show worn base paint, while the motif survives mainly in recessed areas. It is the cheapest way to get the skin, with a gritty, worn-out character.

Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The upper receiver and lower frame are dark grey to black and covered with dense rows of small light cells that imitate a drilled, porous shell, some showing a faint bluish tint inside. The pistol grip carries a lighter grey raised dotted texture, while the vertical foregrip stays dark with plain ribbing.

The light pattern is heavily worn over most of the receiver and grip, leaving dark base paint with scattered remnants of the cells. The magazine and muzzle are scuffed throughout. In game the gun looks dark and rough, with the motif only hinted at. Recessed areas on the sides keep the clearest traces of the original design.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The whole float range of MP9 | Featherweight is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

This skin has a the StatTrak™ version with a kill counter. Right now it is 36% dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

The black-and-white scheme pairs well with monochrome, silver or holo stickers that keep the restrained look. A single bright accent in blue fits the faint tint inside the cells. Placing stickers on the dark receiver sides keeps the grip texture visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the light cells on the receiver top fade gradually.
  • Look at the muzzle and the top edge of the receiver first, as these lose the pattern earliest.
  • Inspect the raised dots on the grip and the edges of the pale magazine for scuffs.
  • Review any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the clean monochrome look.
