Show allAllSkin overview
Featherweight turns the MP9 into a dark, monochrome weapon covered in a pattern of small light cells. In Field-Tested the dots on the upper edges begin to fade and the dark base shows scuffs, giving the gun a used, working look. The perforated motif is still easy to recognise in a match.
Item type: smg. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The upper receiver and lower frame are dark grey to black and covered with dense rows of small light cells that imitate a drilled, porous shell, some showing a faint bluish tint inside. The pistol grip carries a lighter grey raised dotted texture, while the vertical foregrip stays dark with plain ribbing.
The light cells along the top of the receiver and near the muzzle start to fade and break up. Scuffs appear on the raised dots of the grip and on the magazine edges. In game the pattern is still clearly visible, though the gun looks less bright. The sides of the receiver and the foregrip still read fairly clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of MP9 | Featherweight is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin

StatTrak™ and Souvenir
There is also a the StatTrak™ version: the counter on the weapon tracks kills. Right now it is 17% dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
The black-and-white scheme pairs well with monochrome, silver or holo stickers that keep the restrained look. A single bright accent in blue fits the faint tint inside the cells. Placing stickers on the dark receiver sides keeps the grip texture visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the light cells on the receiver top fade gradually.
- Look at the muzzle and the top edge of the receiver first, as these lose the pattern earliest.
- Inspect the raised dots on the grip and the edges of the pale magazine for scuffs.
- Review any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the clean monochrome look.
Who should buy Field-Tested
- Players who use the MP9 on the CT side and want a recognisable pattern in game.
- Buyers who like a slightly used, working look.
- A practical everyday option.
