Skin overview

In Well-Worn the developer theme takes on a rough, workshop feel: the orange is broken up along edges and raised parts, and the grid panels lose some sharpness. The overall orange-and-grey silhouette is still recognisable at normal distance. It suits buyers who like a weathered machine gun.

Item type: machinegun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The receiver is painted orange with large grey panels on the top cover and side, covered in a fine grid like editor placeholder textures, plus small light technical markings on the orange areas. The barrel and muzzle are dark grey, with an orange stripe running along the handguard, and the front sight is picked out in orange.

Orange is worn through along most edges, the stock frame and the handguard stripe, and the box magazine shows clear scuffing. The grid lines on the grey panels become softer and partly blurred. At normal distance the gun still reads as orange and grey, but visibly rough. Larger flat areas of the receiver keep most of their colour.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Negev | dev_texture is 0–0.65; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

What it costs in each quality

Compared with the Well-Worn quality, the others go like this:

Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 4 skins of the Negev in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

StatTrak™ and Souvenir

This skin has a the StatTrak™ version with a kill counter. Right now it is 1.6× dearer than the regular one. There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, grey and white stickers blend with the developer grid, while orange or yellow ones continue the base colour. Placements on the grey side panels of the receiver stand out most clearly against the grid.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its wear range, since a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
  • Inspect the muzzle, sights and corners of the ammo box, as these lose orange first.
  • Look at the stickers and name tag, as they change how the orange receiver reads.
  • Decide whether you need StatTrak™ or Souvenir, since both versions exist for this skin.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Fans of a weathered, workshop-style look on a machine gun.
  • Budget-minded players who still want clear orange colour.
  • Conclusion: a characterful option for those who do not mind visible wear.
