Nova | Currents is a Consumer Grade shotgun finish built on a grayscale hydrographic print with silver birds scattered across the gun. In Factory New the bird silhouettes keep sharp outlines and the grey tones stay even from muzzle to stock. It is a quiet, monochrome look that suits players who prefer a clean but unassuming weapon.

Item type: shotgun. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Appearance in Factory New

The whole gun is covered in a grayscale hydrographic print: dark charcoal and olive-grey patches overlaid with pale silver bird silhouettes. The birds are most visible on the receiver sides and the wide flat surface of the stock, while the long barrel shows a darker, more mottled section of the pattern. The ribbed pump grip is finished in an even mid grey, and the magazine tube cap and trigger guard have a light silver tone that matches the birds. On worn copies the print goes first from the muzzle end, the top edge of the receiver, the raised ribs of the pump and the toe and heel of the stock, revealing bare metal underneath.

The print is intact on every part of the gun, including the muzzle and pump ribs. Bird outlines are crisp and the silver accents keep their light tone against the grey. In game the Nova looks uniformly clean at any distance. Nothing on the weapon shows bare metal.
