Nova | Hyper Beast (Factory New)

Skin overview

Nova | Hyper Beast covers the shotgun in a psychedelic creature drawn in neon green, magenta and orange over a dark base. In Factory New every colour boundary stays sharp, so the beast's fine strokes on the receiver and stock read as clearly as on the preview. This is the grade for buyers who want the artwork exactly as designed.

Item type: shotgun. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Factory New

The barrel is mostly dark grey with neon green and pink streaks running toward the receiver, while the muzzle stays dark. The receiver carries the densest part of the artwork, with magenta, red and green shapes forming the beast's body. The ribbed pump is dark with orange and yellow strokes that look like teeth or flames, and the stock is filled with green, teal, blue and orange swirls. On worn copies the paint goes first on the muzzle, the edges of the pump and the top line of the receiver, then on the raised edges of the stock.

The paint is intact across all parts of the weapon. Fine lines on the receiver and the orange strokes on the pump stay crisp. In game the colours look as bright as on the preview at any distance. Nothing is worn on the muzzle or edges.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies at the low end look noticeably cleaner on the pump and muzzle.
• Look at the top edge of the receiver and the pump, as these lose paint first.
• See whether stickers or a name tag are applied and whether they suit your taste.
• Decide between the regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions before comparing offers.
