Show allAllSkin overview
Copper Oxide is recognisable by its split colour scheme, a warm metallic slide on top of a light blue body. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip at the edges, and darker metal shows through around the muzzle and slide corners. The colours stay readable, but the gun looks carried rather than fresh.
Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The slide is painted a solid rose gold with a copper, slightly reddish tone, including the muzzle face and the rear serrations. The frame, trigger guard and grip are a pale blue, close to mint, with the textured grip panel in the same colour.
Chips become visible on the muzzle, slide edges, serrations and the front of the frame, with dark metal showing through. The magazine base and beavertail may also start to lose paint. In game the two colours still read clearly, with the wear showing as a darker outline along the edges. Flat surfaces of the slide and the grip panel mostly stay intact.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of P250 | Copper Oxide is 0–0.65; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (35% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Field-Tested as the baseline:
- Factory New — 3× dearer
- Minimal Wear — about the same
- Well-Worn — about the same
- Battle-Scarred — about the same
Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.
Among 10 skins of the P250 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin ranks 9th by price, counting from the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in copper, gold, teal or pale blue tones blend well with the two-colour scheme. Placing them on the pale blue frame gives the most contrast, while warm metallic stickers on the slide area keep the look restrained.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since chips on the light frame become noticeable quickly as wear grows.
- Look at the muzzle, slide edges and front of the frame, as these lose paint first.
- There is no pattern on this finish, so copies of the same wear differ only by float, stickers and name tag.
- On Souvenir copies, check the condition and placement of the applied stickers.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the colour scheme in game and do not mind edge chips.
- Budget buyers looking for a readable two-tone pistol.
- A practical everyday copy for regular play.
