R8 Revolver | Monarch is a Gunsmith finish in pale cream and grey with orange angular panels across the barrel and frame, set off by a brass cylinder, hammer and trigger. In Factory New the orange shapes keep sharp borders and the brass parts stay bright and even. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the light, almost polished look exactly as designed.
Item type: pistol. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
How the skin looks in Factory New
The barrel and frame are covered in a pale cream and light grey finish with orange angular panels that run along the barrel shroud and around the cylinder window. The cylinder, hammer and trigger have a warm brass finish, while the top rail and under-barrel accessory stay black. The grip is dark grey textured rubber with finger grooves that contrasts with the light metal. On worn copies the paint goes first on the muzzle, the top edges of the barrel and the corners of the frame, then on the trigger guard. The brass parts lose their shine and pick up scratches as wear grows.
The cream base is clean and even, and the orange panels have crisp edges. The brass cylinder and controls keep a uniform shine. In game the revolver reads as bright and light-coloured with clear orange accents. Every part, including the muzzle and frame corners, looks untouched.

What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear grade, since the light paint shows chips clearly.
- Look at the muzzle, barrel top and frame corners, where wear appears first.
- Inspect the brass cylinder for dulling and scratches on its ridges.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, especially on souvenir copies.
Who should buy Factory New
- Collectors who want the pale paint and brass parts without any marks.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean light base for warm-toned designs.
- Conclusion: the best choice if the clean look matters most.
