Skin overview

SCAR-20 | Caged is a Mil-Spec sniper rifle finish for the counter-terrorist side, built on a dark gunmetal base with a blue-to-purple gradient on the upper receiver and buttstock. In Factory New the gradient is at its cleanest, with soft colour transitions and crisp small markings on the receiver. This grade suits buyers who want the colours exactly as designed.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The upper receiver carries the main colour work: a blue-to-purple gradient with teal and pinkish tints laid over a dark gunmetal base, plus small markings on the side. The long railed handguard and the barrel stay dark grey and black, which keeps the rifle looking tactical. The magazine, magazine well and pistol grip are finished in a muted dark olive tone. The buttstock repeats the gradient on its rear plate, and the scope body stays dark around its green-tinted lens. On worn copies the paint goes first on the rail edges, the top of the receiver, the scope tube and the corners of the stock.

The gradient on the receiver and buttstock is intact, with smooth transitions between blue, teal and purple. The rails, scope and grip show no scratches. At normal distance the rifle reads as a dark gun with clean cool-coloured accents. Every part looks as on the preview image.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of SCAR-20 | Caged is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
