SCAR-20 | Stone Mosaico in Battle-Scarred is the roughest version of the tan cracked tile finish. Heavy chipping exposes the dark base on many surfaces, and the mosaic survives mostly on flatter panels of the handguard and stock. The skin's float range ends early, so even the worst copies keep a fair share of the pattern.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The tan cracked tile hydrographic covers the handguard, upper receiver, pistol grip and stock, with dark grey and slate stones outlined by thin black seams. The barrel, muzzle device, scope and top rail stay black, framing the beige mosaic on the body.
Heavy wear covers the handguard, magazine, grip and stock edges, with large areas of dark metal replacing the tiles. The beige becomes patchy and the seams lose definition. In game the rifle looks dark and rough, with the mosaic visible only in fragments. Because the float range ends early, the flat side panels still hold noticeable parts of the pattern.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5
The float of SCAR-20 | Stone Mosaico ranges from 0.06 to 0.5; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.5 — 11% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Canals Collection with 18 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Price by quality
Among 6 skins of the SCAR-20 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the dearest.
Souvenir version
There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Stickers in sand, brown, olive and grey tones blend with the stone tiles for a calm desert look. Black or dark grey stickers placed on the receiver echo the black seams and the dark barrel. Bright colours stand out sharply against the tan pattern, so a single accent works better than several.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the Factory New band on this skin is very narrow.
- Inspect the handguard rail edges, stock corners and magazine base, as these lose paint first.
- On Souvenir copies, look at which pre-applied stickers the rifle carries and how worn they are.
- Note any name tag or applied stickers, which can change how the beige mosaic looks overall.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Budget entry for anyone who wants this finish on the SCAR-20.
- Players who like a dark, rough rifle with fragments of the mosaic.
- Conclusion: the cheapest grade that still keeps part of the pattern.
