Skin overview

Zinc turns the SCAR-20 into a grey, metal-toned rifle with a soft patchy texture. In Well-Worn the scuffs on edges and raised parts become part of the look and make the weapon seem heavily used. Because the colours are already close to bare steel, the wear blends in more than on bright finishes.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and the long railed handguard are covered in a mottled grayscale pattern, with light grey patches over darker grey that give a dull galvanised look. The barrel and muzzle device stay dark, and the scope is finished in a deep grey that matches the body.

The edges of the rail, handguard and stock are clearly scraped, and wear reaches the grip and the magazine corners. Larger patches of the coat thin out on the receiver. At normal distance the rifle looks noticeably used, though the grey tone hides much of the damage. Flat inner areas of the stock and magazine keep most of the pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of SCAR-20 | Zinc ranges from 0 to 0.6; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 12% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
