Skin overview

Gator Mesh is a simple olive and yellow-green camouflage with a scaled mesh texture across the whole SG 553. In Field-Tested the edges of the handguard, magazine and stock start to lose paint, while the pattern on flat surfaces still reads clearly. The finish begins to look used rather than freshly sprayed, which fits its field camouflage style.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, handguard, magazine, pistol grip and stock are all sprayed olive with a fine yellow-green mesh that forms a scale-like texture. Darker olive patches run across the body and break up the mesh in a loose camouflage shape.

Paint loss becomes visible along the handguard ribs, magazine edges and the stock butt. The mesh on these areas starts to break up, with metal showing in thin lines. In game the finish still reads as green camouflage, with wear noticeable on closer look. Flat sides of the receiver and stock keep most of the pattern.
