SG 553 | Heavy Metal (Factory New)

Skin overview

SG 553 | Heavy Metal is a terrorist-side scoped rifle finish with a black base, orange and yellow highlights and three stars painted on the rear of the butt stock. In Factory New the black stays deep and even, and the warm accents on the receiver and stock keep sharp edges against the studded metal texture. This is the grade for buyers who want the contrast exactly as designed.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The upper receiver is covered in a dark studded texture, while the long handguard carries grey ribbed rails with a darker centre line. The lower receiver and the area around the trigger are black with splashes of orange, red and yellow that look like glowing metal. The butt stock repeats the warm accent with an orange and yellow shape, and three stars are painted on its rear part. The magazine and grip stay in grey tones, and the scope and barrel remain dark metal. On worn copies the black paint goes first on the edges of the magazine, the rail ribs, the stock and other raised parts.

The black base is uniform across the receiver, handguard and stock. The orange and yellow patches have clean edges and full saturation. The studded texture and the stars on the stock look crisp. Nothing on the rifle shows visible marks in game.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in a worn grade keeps more of the black paint.
• Look at the magazine edges and the stock first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
• Make sure the orange accents and the stars on the stock are still intact if they matter to you.
• Inspect any stickers and name tag on the offer, as they change the overall look.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the finish exactly as designed.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean dark base.
• Conclusion: the choice for maximum contrast and a spotless look.
