Souvenir AK-47 | Asiimov (Factory New)

Skin overview

AK-47 | Asiimov is a Covert rifle finish with a sci-fi look: a white body, bright orange panels and black geometric accents. In Factory New the white surfaces stay clean and even, so the contrast between the three colours is at its sharpest. This is the grade for a buyer who wants the design exactly as it was drawn.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and dust cover are painted white with orange stripes, black angled lines and small technical markings in the centre of the rifle. The handguard and upper barrel area carry solid orange panels with black and white segments, while the front end of the barrel stays dark.

The paint is intact on every part of the rifle. The white body has no scratches or grey tint, and the borders between orange, white and black are crisp. In game the skin reads as a bright, clean rifle from any distance. The float range of this skin does not reach the very lowest values, so it is worth comparing floats within the grade.

Factory New wear: float 0.05–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Asiimov is 0.05–0.7; Factory New takes the 0.05–0.07 segment (3% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, black and white stickers match the artwork and keep the sci-fi look consistent. Placing them on the white parts of the receiver gives a clear contrast, while holographic or dark stickers work well near the orange handguard.

What to look at before you buy

• Compare the float within the chosen grade, since the white body shows every step of wear.
• Look at the white receiver, stock and magazine edges in the screenshot, as they wear first.
• Check applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of the clean white surfaces.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the white body completely clean.
• Sticker crafters who need a flawless white background.
• Conclusion: the grade for the design exactly as intended.
