Souvenir AK-47 | Asiimov (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The Asiimov finish turns the AK-47 into a clean white-and-orange rifle with dark technical lines and small markings on the receiver. Minimal Wear keeps that look almost intact: any marks are faint and sit on edges that are hard to notice in a match. It gives nearly the same picture as the cleanest grade at a lower entry point.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and dust cover are painted white with orange stripes, black angled lines and small technical markings in the centre of the rifle. The handguard and upper barrel area carry solid orange panels with black and white segments, while the front end of the barrel stays dark.

Small marks may appear on the edges of the magazine and the tip of the stock. The white receiver and the orange panels remain clean when viewed as a whole. At normal distance in game it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. Only close inspection reveals the slight wear.

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Asiimov is 0.05–0.7; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (12% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, black and white stickers match the artwork and keep the sci-fi look consistent. Placing them on the white parts of the receiver gives a clear contrast, while holographic or dark stickers work well near the orange handguard.

What to look at before you buy

• Compare the float within the chosen grade, since the white body shows every step of wear.
• Look at the white receiver, stock and magazine edges in the screenshot, as they wear first.
• Check applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of the clean white surfaces.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want an almost clean look without paying for the top grade.
• Sticker crafts where minor edge marks do not matter.
• Conclusion: nearly Factory New in game, at a lower cost.
