Skin overview

The finish is recognised by its orange base, gold flames and the blue Jinn on and above the magazine, though in Battle-Scarred much of that is worn away. Large areas of paint are gone from the magazine, receiver and stock, leaving dark metal between faded orange fragments. It suits players who like a heavily used, almost stripped rifle.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and stock are covered in a bright orange-red base with olive-gold flame shapes running along them. The blue Jinn is painted on the magazine and continues above it onto the receiver, drawn with thin white line work, while the magazine itself shifts from orange at the bottom to blue towards the front.

Large areas of paint are gone from the magazine, receiver, handguard and stock, exposing dark metal. The Jinn is only partly visible and the flames survive as faded fragments. In game the rifle reads as a dark, worn body with scattered orange and blue spots.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Consequence of the Jinn is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Arabesque Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Among 13 skins of the AK-47 in the Covert grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, orange and blue stickers match the skin's palette, and holo or foil gold pieces echo the glossy flames. Placements on the receiver and stock suit it best, since the magazine already carries the Jinn and gets crowded easily.

What to check before buying

• Look at the float position within the wear grade, since the full float range means the cleanest and dirtiest copies of one grade differ noticeably.
• Inspect the magazine closely, as its edges and the Jinn artwork on it show wear first.
• Check the gold flames on the receiver and stock for lost sheen on lower grades.
• Look at applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the busy artwork reads.
