Skin overview

Hydroponic is defined by its anodized green front sight, gas tube and receiver accents set against reddish wood furniture. In Field-Tested the green starts to break up on the protruding metal parts, and bare metal shows through in places. The wood and the overall green-and-red scheme still read clearly at normal distance.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The front sight, gas tube and the metal around the handguard are coated in bright anodized green with a metallic sheen. The receiver is pale grey-green with a bamboo leaf motif in green and light streaks running across the dust cover, plus a small red mark on its side.

Silver metal shows through on the front sight, along the gas tube and on the top edge of the dust cover. The bamboo streaks start to lose definition where the coating thins. In game the green still dominates the metal parts, but the wear is visible on the inspect animation. The wood and the flatter areas of the receiver stay fairly clean.

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Hydroponic is 0–0.8; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (29% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir AK-47 | Hydroponic belongs to The Rising Sun Collection, which holds 16 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, gold and holo stickers in natural tones match the bamboo theme and sit well on the pale receiver. Warm red or brown accents echo the wood furniture. Bright blue or purple stickers tend to clash with the green-and-red scheme.
