Skin overview

The skin's identity rests on the contrast between warm leather and a patchwork of colourful luggage stickers on a dark rifle. In Minimal Wear the differences from a factory copy are limited to faint marks on edges, visible mostly when inspecting the weapon. In game it reads almost the same as the cleanest grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The handguard and the stock are wrapped in orange-brown leather with a fine grainy texture, covered with colourful travel labels in teal, green, yellow, red and purple. The dark grey receiver carries more small labels along its top and side, while the barrel and gas tube stay in plain dark metal.

Small specks may appear on the edges of the receiver labels and the front of the handguard. The leather and the stock labels remain practically untouched. In game the difference from Factory New is hard to spot. The colours stay saturated across the whole rifle.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AK-47 | Jet Set is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir AK-47 | Jet Set belongs to The Baggage Collection, which holds 15 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Vintage-style or paper-looking stickers in teal, green, yellow or brown blend naturally with the luggage labels. Placing them on the dark receiver keeps the leather pattern of the handguard and stock visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at the receiver labels first, since they lose colour before the rest of the artwork.
• Compare the float within the wear range, as copies at the low end of a grade keep noticeably more of the labels.
• Check the edges of the handguard and stock for scuffs that break up the colourful stickers.
• For Souvenir copies, check which stickers are applied and how they sit over the label artwork.
