Souvenir AK-47 | Neon Rider (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Neon Rider is easy to recognise by its contrast of magenta and turquoise and the synthwave-style biker on the receiver. In Field-Tested the colours still hold up well, while scuffs start to show along the magazine, the edges of the receiver and the handguard. The central figure usually remains readable, so the skin keeps its character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver is painted in purple and magenta with a helmeted biker at its centre, surrounded by neon lines, splashes and blended shapes in pink, turquoise and blue. The handguard and the stock are turquoise fading into blue and purple, covered in a dark halftone dot pattern.

Scuffs become visible along the magazine edges, the receiver corners and the rims of the handguard and stock. The halftone pattern begins to lose dots near those edges. The biker on the receiver usually stays readable, with only light scratching around it on worse floats. In game the rifle still looks bright, and the wear is mostly noticeable on inspect.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Holographic and foil stickers in pink, purple, cyan or blue match the neon palette well. Placing stickers on the handguard keeps the biker on the receiver visible. Avoid heavy earth tones that clash with the synthwave colours.

What to look at before you buy

• Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies near the cleaner end show noticeably fewer scuffs.
• Inspect the magazine edges and receiver corners first, as these parts lose paint before the rest.
• Check whether the biker on the receiver is still clean, because it is the focal point of the design.
• Review applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the bright artwork looks.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want a bright AK-47 for everyday matches.
• Buyers who accept light scuffs in exchange for a lower cost.
• A practical option that keeps the biker readable.
