Skin overview

Even heavily worn, this rifle is still identified by its wine-red shapes and pistol grip set against a pale base. Battle-Scarred brings large chipped areas, dark grime on the cream sections and broken gold details along the edges. It is the most affordable way to carry the design, with a deliberately rough character.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver is ivory with thin gold scrollwork and red floral flourishes, while the dust cover and rear sight area carry gold-brown accents. The handguard and barrel are wine-red with gold outlines, and the front sight stays in the same deep red.

Large areas of paint are missing on the magazine, handguard, receiver edges and stock, exposing bare metal and darker surfaces. The ivory base is heavily stained, and many gold lines are broken or gone near the edges. At normal distance the rifle reads as dark red and dirty cream rather than clean ornament. Only the centre of the stock and receiver keep fragments of the full pattern.

Gold, foil and holo stickers in warm tones echo the gold accents, while deep red or burgundy stickers blend with the wine sections. The cream receiver area gives darker stickers strong contrast, so restrained, elegant designs fit better than bright neon ones.

• Look at where the float sits within the wear grade, since the pale base shows wear earlier than darker finishes.
• Inspect the magazine edges and the front of the handguard, as these lose paint first.
