Souvenir AK-47 | Searing Rage (Factory New)

Skin overview

AK-47 | Searing Rage is an art brut finish of dense orange and yellow scribbles, flames and hand-drawn lettering over a dark base, with a screaming red-and-yellow face on the magazine. In Factory New every line and every flame tongue stays crisp, so the chaotic drawing reads as intended rather than as noise.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and stock are covered in a dense web of thin orange and yellow scribbles and lettering over a dark base, with brighter flame strokes along the top of the receiver. The handguard carries bold yellow-orange flames outlined in black, while the dark barrel and gas tube show orange hand-written text.

The paint is intact on every part of the rifle, including the magazine edges and the handguard. The thin scribbles on the stock and receiver stay sharp and readable up close. In game the flames and the face on the magazine read bright and saturated at any distance.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, gold, red and black stickers blend with the fiery palette, while holo or foil gold accents fit the flames. Placements on the receiver side work best, as the magazine face is the main artwork and is better left visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the magazine artwork changes most between low and high floats of the same grade.
• Look at the magazine edges and the face artwork in inspect, as this is the first place the paint wears off.
• Check the handguard flames and the top of the receiver for paint loss on worn copies.
• Note applied stickers and the name tag, because they affect how the busy pattern reads.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the art brut drawing with every line intact.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for warm-coloured combinations.
• The grade for those who want the full, untouched artwork.
