Souvenir AK-47 | Searing Rage (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Searing Rage is recognisable by its warm orange-black palette and the deliberately crude, hand-scrawled look of the drawing. In Field-Tested the edges of the magazine and handguard start to lose paint, which suits the raw art brut style and does not break the overall impression of fire and chaos.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and stock are covered in a dense web of thin orange and yellow scribbles and lettering over a dark base, with brighter flame strokes along the top of the receiver. The handguard carries bold yellow-orange flames outlined in black, while the dark barrel and gas tube show orange hand-written text.

Visible paint loss shows on the magazine edges, the handguard rims and the top of the receiver. The face on the magazine stays recognisable, though its outer areas begin to break up. In game the rifle still reads orange and fiery, while the centre of the stock and the receiver side look fairly clean.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, gold, red and black stickers blend with the fiery palette, while holo or foil gold accents fit the flames. Placements on the receiver side work best, as the magazine face is the main artwork and is better left visible.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the magazine artwork changes most between low and high floats of the same grade.
• Look at the magazine edges and the face artwork in inspect, as this is the first place the paint wears off.
• Check the handguard flames and the top of the receiver for paint loss on worn copies.
• Note applied stickers and the name tag, because they affect how the busy pattern reads.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the fiery look for everyday matches.
• Fans of the raw style, where edge wear suits the crude drawing.
• A balanced pick between appearance and cost.
