Souvenir AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel (Factory New)

Skin overview

AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel is a Covert rifle finish that combines dark wooden furniture with white graffiti tags sprayed over a distressed receiver and magazine. In Factory New the white lettering is crisp against the dark metal, and the deliberate scuffing of the artwork is the only roughness on the gun. This grade sits in a narrow band at the clean end of the float range.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The receiver and dust cover are dark and scuffed, covered with white graffiti lettering that runs along the side in loose brush strokes. The handguard and stock are brown wood with visible grain, the handguard carrying a small white stencil mark and darker block-printed patches, while the pistol grip is a lighter tan wood.

The white graffiti is complete, with sharp edges on the receiver and magazine. Any roughness visible is part of the printed distressed texture, not real wear. The wood is even in tone and the stencil mark on the handguard is clear. In game the lettering reads as clean white lines over dark metal.

Factory New quality — float range 0.05–0.07

The float of Souvenir AK-47 | Wasteland Rebel ranges from 0.05 to 0.7; the Factory New quality covers 0.05–0.07 — 3% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Vanguard Collection with 14 skins in total.

The source is Operation Vanguard Weapon Case (on sale since Nov 5, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, white and monochrome stickers match the graffiti scheme and keep the receiver readable. Brown, tan or muted gold tones work well near the wooden handguard. Placing stickers over the plain dark areas avoids covering the main white lettering.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, as the white graffiti on the receiver and magazine shows the difference first.
• Look at the magazine edges and the receiver corners on the inspect screen, since these lose paint before anything else.
• Confirm whether the listing is a regular, StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy, as all three exist for this skin.
• Review applied stickers and any name tag so you know exactly what is included.

Who should buy Factory New

• Collectors who want the graffiti in its sharpest form.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base around the lettering.
• The choice for buyers who want the artwork exactly as designed.
