Souvenir AUG | Amber Slipstream (Factory New)

Skin overview

AUG | Amber Slipstream is a hydrographic finish that pairs smoky grey with vivid orange accents on the bullpup body of the AUG. In Factory New the orange panels on the stock and the bright magazine stay crisp against the dark grey, and the fine grid texture inside the orange areas is fully visible. This is the grade for buyers who want the colour contrast exactly as designed.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and stock are covered in a dark grey and muted teal camouflage hydrographic, broken by orange and rust-red streaks around the trigger guard and the rear of the stock. The rear stock carries orange panels with a fine grid texture that stand out as the brightest painted areas.

The finish is clean across the whole rifle, with no visible scratches on the stock, grip or trigger guard. The orange panels keep their grid texture sharp and the magazine looks bright and even. In game the contrast between the grey body and the orange accents is at its strongest.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir AUG | Amber Slipstream ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 13% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Horizon Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Horizon Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in orange, amber, black or dark grey tie in with the finish, and holo or gold accents echo the bright magazine. Placing them on the dark grey side of the receiver keeps them readable without clashing with the orange panels on the stock.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the orange panels on the rear stock and the edges of the trigger guard, as these show wear first.
• Make sure the stickers and name tag on the offer fit the orange and grey colour scheme.
• Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the orange and grey contrast at its sharpest.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a coordinated look.
• The pick for anyone who wants the skin exactly as designed.
