Skin overview

The skin is built on a dark grey and teal camouflage base broken by orange streaks and mesh-patterned panels, with a translucent orange magazine as the focal point. In Minimal Wear the finish reads almost identically to a fresh copy, with only small marks that are hard to spot outside close inspection. It keeps the full look of the skin at a slightly lower entry point than the cleanest grade.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and stock are covered in a dark grey and muted teal camouflage hydrographic, broken by orange and rust-red streaks around the trigger guard and the rear of the stock. The rear stock carries orange panels with a fine grid texture that stand out as the brightest painted areas.

Small specks of wear may appear on the sharpest edges of the stock and the trigger guard. The orange panels and the magazine stay intact and bright. At normal viewing distance in game the skin is practically indistinguishable from Factory New.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir AUG | Amber Slipstream ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 15% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, amber, black or dark grey tie in with the finish, and holo or gold accents echo the bright magazine. Placing them on the dark grey side of the receiver keeps them readable without clashing with the orange panels on the stock.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the orange panels on the rear stock and the edges of the trigger guard, as these show wear first.
