Skin overview

AUG | Lapis Lazuli is still identifiable by its blue tiled body and white upper even in the most worn grade. In Battle-Scarred the finish looks chipped and weathered, with bare metal showing on edges and the gold accents largely gone. Some players like this rough, cracked-porcelain character for its own sake.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, carry handle rail and scope housing are painted a light cream-white, with copper-gold trim on the charging handle, muzzle and scope rings. The barrel and scope lens cap are a solid blue, matching the main body.

Heavy chipping covers the edges and raised parts, with large patches of bare metal on the stock, foregrip and magazine. The white upper is scratched and grimy, and little of the gold trim remains. Depending on the float within this broad grade, the tile ornament ranges from patchy to badly broken. In game the rifle reads as a weathered blue-and-white piece rather than a clean decorative one.

Souvenir version

There is also a the Souvenir version with tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Blue, white and gold stickers blend naturally with the tiled ornament, and holographic or gold variants echo the metallic trim. Placing stickers on the white receiver keeps them readable against a calm background, while busy multicoloured designs tend to clash with the dense pattern on the stock.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the white receiver and magazine show wear more readily than the blue parts.
  • Inspect the edges of the stock, the foregrip and the magazine ribs, which lose paint first on this finish.
  • Look at the gold trim on the charging handle and muzzle, as its condition affects how rich the skin looks.
  • Souvenir copies come with fixed stickers, so judge whether they fit the blue-and-white artwork.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • Players who like a rough, weathered look on a decorative finish.
  • The cheapest entry for those who simply want this AUG in their loadout.
  • Worth it if the chipped character appeals to you rather than the clean ornament.
