Skin overview

AUG | Daedalus in Battle-Scarred keeps its maze motif, but the spray paint is broken up across the most exposed areas. The float range ends before the most extreme values, so even the most worn copies retain a fair part of the stencil. It is the most affordable way to get the labyrinth look on the AUG.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The labyrinth stencil covers the lower receiver, the trigger guard and the rear of the stock, with grey maze lines on the body and brick red lines on the stock. The translucent magazine carries a light grey and red maze pattern, and the vertical foregrip has a mottled red and grey-green spray.

The foregrip, the magazine and the stock edges lose much of their paint, and the receiver shows large worn patches. The maze remains readable on the flat sides of the stock and body. Since the range ends early, the rifle looks heavily used rather than completely stripped. In game it gives a rough, battered look.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.55

The float of Souvenir AUG | Daedalus ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.55 — 18% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Gods and Monsters Collection with 14 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers in brick red, grey or dark tones blend with the maze and keep the earthy look. A single contrasting sticker on the stock or side of the receiver stands out well against the muted labyrinth.

What to look at before you buy

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since a low float looks noticeably cleaner on the stock edges and magazine.
• Inspect the foregrip and magazine base first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
• Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the offer is a Souvenir and which stickers it carries.
• Look at any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of the muted finish.
