Skin overview

AUG | Daedalus is a Consumer Grade rifle finish with a stencilled isometric labyrinth sprayed across the body, grip and stock. The maze lines run in muted brick red and grey over a dusty base, while the barrel and optic stay dark. In Factory New the stencil edges are crisp and the labyrinth reads as a clean, continuous pattern.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear and Field-Tested.

Appearance in Factory New

The labyrinth stencil covers the lower receiver, the trigger guard and the rear of the stock, with grey maze lines on the body and brick red lines on the stock. The translucent magazine carries a light grey and red maze pattern, and the vertical foregrip has a mottled red and grey-green spray.

The stencil is intact on every painted part, and the maze lines have sharp edges. The magazine, foregrip and stock show no visible scuffs. In game the rifle looks clean and the labyrinth reads clearly from the first-person view. The unpainted barrel and optic look the same in every grade.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir AUG | Daedalus is 0–0.55; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (13% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir AUG | Daedalus belongs to The Gods and Monsters Collection, which holds 14 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers in brick red, grey or dark tones blend with the maze and keep the earthy look. A single contrasting sticker on the stock or side of the receiver stands out well against the muted labyrinth.

What to check before buying

• Check the float position within the wear grade, since a low float looks noticeably cleaner on the stock edges and magazine.
• Inspect the foregrip and magazine base first, as these parts lose paint before the rest of the rifle.
• Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the offer is a Souvenir and which stickers it carries.
• Look at any applied stickers and name tag, because they change the look of the muted finish.
