Show allAllSkin overview
Signal Scanner is built around a matte black base, so even heavy damage does not ruin its basic look. In Battle-Scarred the colored details are largely worn away and bare scratches cover the edges and protruding parts, which fits the broken-connection idea of the skin. It is the cheapest way to put this finish in the inventory.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.
Appearance in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and stock are covered in matte black paint with thin engraved-looking lines that resemble circuitry. On the side of the body sit small colored details: a green marking near the top and a circular emblem on the stock, with a faint purple sheen along the upper receiver.
Heavy scratches cover the stock edges, the receiver top and the front of the body. The colored details are mostly worn off and the line pattern is hard to follow. In game the rifle looks rough and battered while staying dark. The large flat areas keep some black, but nothing on the finish reads fresh.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
The whole float range of Souvenir AUG | Signal Scanner is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir AUG | Signal Scanner belongs to The Spy Tech Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
The matte black body works well with stickers in green, purple or holographic finishes that echo the small colored marks. Clean tech-style or minimal designs placed along the side of the receiver keep the scanner theme intact.
What to look at before you buy
- Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since the small colored marks fade earlier than the black base.
- Inspect the stock edges and the top of the receiver, which are the first areas to scratch.
- Souvenir copies exist, so check whether the item carries souvenir stickers and whether they suit you.
- Check applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the dark body looks.
