Skin overview

Torque relies on a rough white-over-black treatment that already looks used, so moderate wear blends into the design. In Field-Tested the white panels lose some coverage at the edges and the yellow trim starts to thin. The skin keeps its mechanical character and stays readable in hand.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The receiver and the rear of the stock are covered with off-white panels laid over a dark graphite base, with a rough, brushed texture along their borders. The barrel, scope and foregrip stay black, which keeps the front of the rifle plain and puts the focus on the body.

The white paint starts to wear on the stock edges, the top of the receiver and around the trigger guard, letting the dark base show through. The yellow trim on the stock begins to thin and break in short gaps. The black barrel and scope still look neat. At normal distance the wear merges with the rough design and does not stand out.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Yellow, black and white stickers follow the existing palette and sit well on the receiver above the trigger guard. Holo or foil stickers with technical or robotic motifs support the theme of the finish. Bright colours outside the palette tend to compete with the yellow trim.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end keep more of the white panels.
• Look at the stock edges and the yellow trim, as these are the first places to show wear.
• Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change both the look and the value of a particular copy.
