AWP | Capillary in Battle-Scarred keeps its grey-green tone and some of the coral accents, but large parts of the vein pattern are lost under scratches and chipped paint. The rifle takes on a rough, worn-metal look. This grade suits buyers who want the cheapest way to own the skin and like a weathered finish.
Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The barrel and the upper receiver are painted in a pale grey-green with a faint mottled texture, while the stock and the lower receiver use a darker grey-green as the background for the pattern. Over the stock and receiver runs a network of thin coral and teal veins that branch like capillaries.
Most of the coral paint on the fittings is gone and large scratched areas cover the stock and receiver. Only fragments of the veins remain visible. The skin's float range stops short of the most worn values, so even the roughest copies keep the base colour on the barrel.
Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.7
The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Capillary is 0.05–0.7; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.7 segment (38% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Prisma 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Red, coral and teal stickers echo the veins and fittings, while grey or muted green ones blend into the base coat. The pale barrel and receiver offer clean space where a single coloured sticker stands out without clashing with the pattern on the stock.
What to check before buying
- Check the float position within the wear range, since Factory New is a narrow window and low Minimal Wear copies look almost the same.
- Look at the muzzle, scope rings and magazine first, as the coral accents there show chips earliest.
- On worn grades inspect the stock to see how much of the vein pattern is still intact.
- Check applied stickers and any name tag, as they change how the item looks and may not suit your taste.
Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits
- Players looking for the cheapest entry to the skin.
- Fans of rough, heavily worn finishes.
- The budget pick for those who accept a lost pattern.
