Skin overview

The AWP | Capillary is recognised by its muted green-grey body, coral fittings and the vein pattern spread over the stock. Field-Tested copies keep the overall look intact, but the coral parts and the edges of the rifle start to show chipped paint. It is a practical middle grade for players who want the design without paying for a clean finish.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The barrel and the upper receiver are painted in a pale grey-green with a faint mottled texture, while the stock and the lower receiver use a darker grey-green as the background for the pattern. Over the stock and receiver runs a network of thin coral and teal veins that branch like capillaries.

Chips become visible on the muzzle brake, the scope rings and the bottom of the magazine, with some scratches along the stock edges. The thinnest veins start to break up in places, though the pattern is still easy to read. The barrel's pale coat holds up well and the rifle looks tidy in hand.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Capillary is 0.05–0.7; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (35% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Red, coral and teal stickers echo the veins and fittings, while grey or muted green ones blend into the base coat. The pale barrel and receiver offer clean space where a single coloured sticker stands out without clashing with the pattern on the stock.

• Check the float position within the wear range, since Factory New is a narrow window and low Minimal Wear copies look almost the same.
• Look at the muzzle, scope rings and magazine first, as the coral accents there show chips earliest.
