Souvenir AWP | Containment Breach (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

AWP | Containment Breach is recognisable by its neon green body and dark mutant rats, a theme that tolerates damage better than most clean designs. In Battle-Scarred large areas of paint are scratched away and grey base shows through, so the rifle looks like it survived the outbreak itself. It is the most affordable way to carry this green on the AWP.

Item type: sniper rifle. Covert is the top weapon rarity: usually the most prominent items of a collection or case.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The stock, grip area and lower receiver are covered in bright acid green with dark silhouettes of rats and forest shapes running through the paint. The long barrel stays dark grey, broken only by a neon green ring near the muzzle, and the front ring of the scope repeats the same glowing green.

Large areas of the green are scratched off the stock and receiver, leaving wide patches of grey base. The rings on the scope and muzzle are heavily worn and may lose much of their glow. In game the rifle looks rough and patchy, with green surviving mainly in protected spots. The overall colour still tells the skin apart from other AWP finishes.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The float of Souvenir AWP | Containment Breach ranges from 0 to 1; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–1 — 55% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

It drops from Shattered Web Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in neon green, black or holographic green tones blend well with the radioactive theme. Dark stickers placed on the barrel or the dark receiver area add contrast without hiding the rats on the stock.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade keeps the stock edges noticeably cleaner.
• Look at the edges of the stock, the butt and the neon rings on the scope and muzzle, as these lose paint first.
• Check how the artwork falls on the stock, because the pattern placement can change how many rat silhouettes are visible.
• Look over applied stickers and the name tag, and decide whether they suit the green artwork.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• Budget buyers who want this AWP at the lowest entry cost.
• Players who enjoy a heavily worn, survivor look on their sniper rifle.
• The cheapest way to own the skin, with the theme still recognisable.
