Skin overview

This AWP is recognisable by its blue stock and receiver crossed with green, yellow-edged organic curves and a row of green diamond shapes along the side. In Field-Tested the paint starts to show scuffs on edges and the lower stock, but the skin's float range stops early, so even this grade keeps the motif clearly readable. It is the most affordable way to get the Corticera look in hand.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and stock are painted in a muted blue base, over which green organic shapes with yellow outlines curl around the thumbhole grip and run toward the buttstock. Along the side of the receiver sits a band of green diamond shapes framed by yellow lines, giving the pattern a woven, bark-like texture.

Field-Tested copies show clearer scuffs along the stock edges, the bottom of the buttstock, the rim of the grip cut-out and near the magazine, where bare metal shows through the blue. The upper part of the range can also bring light scratches across the green shapes on the stock. Since the float range ends early, heavy damage does not occur, and in game the rifle still reads as blue and green with a recognisable pattern. The diamond band on the receiver usually stays the cleanest part of the artwork.

Green, gold and yellow stickers echo the vine motif and its outlines, while dark blue or holo stickers blend into the base. Placements on the receiver above the diamond band keep the green pattern on the stock uncovered.

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since a low Field-Tested copy can look close to Minimal Wear.
• Look at the edges of the stock and the bottom of the buttstock, as these areas lose paint first.
