Skin overview

In Battle-Scarred the red and gold serpents are heavily broken up, with large areas of bare dark metal across the stock and receiver. The skin keeps its warm red tone, but the snake shapes become patchy and rough. It suits players who like the gritty, beaten look or want the cheapest way into this finish.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver and stock carry the main artwork: deep red snake scales with pale gold and cream patches, a red serpent on one side and a gold one on the other. The long barrel, muzzle brake, scope and bipod stay in dark, slightly weathered metal, which frames the coloured body.

Large patches of bare metal cover the receiver, the bolt area and much of the stock. The snakes survive in fragments, with the red tone still dominant but broken. In game the finish looks rough and darker overall. Only some sheltered parts of the stock keep a recognisable piece of the scale pattern.

Which stickers suit it

Red, gold and black stickers match the snake artwork and the dark metal of the barrel. Placing them along the receiver keeps them next to the coloured part of the rifle, while holo or foil gold accents echo the gold serpent.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
• Inspect the edges of the stock and the area around the bolt, as these lose paint first.
• Look at both sides of the rifle, because the red and the gold snake are on different sides.
• Note any applied stickers or a name tag and whether they suit you, as they cannot be removed without scraping stickers away.
