Souvenir AWP | Duality (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The finish pairs a red serpent with a gold one, painted over the receiver and stock of the AWP while the barrel and scope stay dark. Minimal Wear keeps the snake artwork practically intact, with any marks small enough to need a close look. It gives almost the same view in game as the cleanest grade at a lower step of the wear scale.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and stock carry the main artwork: deep red snake scales with pale gold and cream patches, a red serpent on one side and a gold one on the other. The long barrel, muzzle brake, scope and bipod stay in dark, slightly weathered metal, which frames the coloured body.

Wear is limited to small specks, mostly on the edges of the stock and near the bolt. The snake artwork and the scale pattern remain complete. At normal viewing distance the difference from Factory New is hard to spot. The flat surfaces of the receiver and stock look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Duality is 0–0.8; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, gold and black stickers match the snake artwork and the dark metal of the barrel. Placing them along the receiver keeps them next to the coloured part of the rifle, while holo or foil gold accents echo the gold serpent.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since a low float in Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner than a high one.
• Inspect the edges of the stock and the area around the bolt, as these lose paint first.
• Look at both sides of the rifle, because the red and the gold snake are on different sides.
• Note any applied stickers or a name tag and whether they suit you, as they cannot be removed without scraping stickers away.
