Skin overview

AWP | Elite Build in Battle-Scarred is the roughest take on the dark graphite design with orange accents. Large areas of wear break up the texture, and the decals are heavily rubbed off, leaving only traces of the orange. It is the cheapest way to own the skin and keeps a gritty, worn-out character.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The whole rifle is covered in a dark graphite hydrographic finish with a fine, slightly mottled texture. The receiver carries orange stencil text and a winged emblem, and the magazine has an orange marking on its side.

Heavy wear runs across the barrel, scope, receiver and stock, breaking up the hydrographic texture. The orange stencils and emblem are mostly rubbed off, with only fragments left. In game the rifle reads as a dark, battered AWP with little of the orange accent visible. Some darker paint remains in recessed areas and on the middle of the stock.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–1

The whole float range of Souvenir AWP | Elite Build is 0–1; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–1 segment (55% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Wildfire Collection with 16 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Wildfire Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, gold and black stickers echo the decals and keep the restrained palette intact. Placing them along the barrel or on the stock avoids covering the emblem on the receiver.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float keeps the orange decals noticeably sharper.
• Look at the receiver stencils and emblem in the inspect view, as they are the main detail of the design and fade first.
• Inspect the muzzle brake and scope tube edges, where scuffs show earliest on the dark paint.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, because they change the look of the receiver area.
